Within its incredible history, Thessaloniki also radiates a vivacious culture and lifestyle that celebrates both the joy of life and the importance of togetherness and connection. From the colour and vibrancy of its streets to its renowned culinary traditions, it is truly a place in which to create unforgettable moments to treasure forever. This rich tapestry of inspiration is reflected in its name: “Mon” from monastery, and “Asty” meaning city. From this, we were further inspired to create the unique design elements of the interior with sweeping arches reminiscent of monastic design as well as colours and imagery drawn from the Byzantine tradition. “MonAsty is an invitation to the world to join us in celebrating all the majesty, history and wonder of Thessaloniki’s past, present and future.”
